Good "John Kerry" answer El Gato! Just having some fun there.

Whats funny is the cats have a terrible D, but most cat fans think they'll hold the Griz to less than 10 points. I guess anything could happen, but I just don't see it. On the flip side of course, Griz fans (myself included) think the Griz have a better offense than the stats/scores indicate, guess we'll all know about 4:00 PM on Saturday afternoon.

Hauck likes to prepare for the tough games and come out with a lot of trick plays, and new schemes, the cat D had better prepare for the unexpected!

In the end, Travis Lulay, with 320 yards total offense, will take the field one last time as a Bobcat
How many of those yards will Lulay get on the ground? I would guess more than 15, which would be fine, a Bobcat loss and he doesn't break the passing record.

I can understand being confident in your team but having us giving up 345 rushing is a bit of a stretch.

And now Part to of the fall of the empire

As the Grizzlies come out of the lockeroom to warm up for the second half, the television is there to ask Haulk about his 2nd half adjustments, all Bobby says is “don’t eat sushi”. A little puzzled the interviewer shrugs and sends it back to the booth.

The Bobcats come back out on the field to a thunderous roar, but it is quickly noticed that Lulay is not with them. As a murmur goes through the crowd, there is the sound of an explosion and a bunch of smoke, then with a blue and gold cape attached to his uniform Lulay comes running through the smoke and the crowd goes nuts, it is absolute pandemonium. Over the PA system a voice is heard saying “screw it” and then Nazareth “Hair of the Dog” comes blaring out the sound system. The crowd is screaming and singing along, the tailgaters come running to see what all the fuss is about. The stadium is packed and it is time for the 2nd half.

After the kickoff, which was a touchback Lulay lines up in the shotgun, and before he starts the snap count he points down field, in the fashion of Babe Ruth. The griz audible about 4 times and the ball is hiked. Lulay holds it and holds it, then runs from the rush to his right and lets it go, Gatewood catches it on the 20 and trots in for the touchdown. After the extra point it is 35-0 Bobcats. The Bobcats kick off but it is an onside kick and Daly recovers it on the 44 yard line. Travis jumps back on to the field with his cam padres and executes a 56 yard drive with plenty of Grove and 2:49 seconds later ends with Groves going up and over the line from the 1. After the extra point the griz and lex take the field. They start motoring down the field at about 5 yards a play, giving the griz faithful something to cheer about. But when Cole drops back to pass on a second and 4 Kolone breaks through grabs him, strips the ball right out of his clenches and throws him away like a used Kleenex, then picks up the ball and starts rumbling, stumbling, but no fumblin, down to the 13 yard line where he is wrapped up but he keeps pumping those tree trunks for legs and dragging grizzly defenders with him they finally bring him down at the 2 yard line. The offense comes in and Travis runs a naked boot leg to the corner of the end zone, as the 3rd quarter whistle sounds. At the end of three it is 49-0 BOBCATS!

The fourth quarter is more of the same for the griz, just when you think they got something going they get a penalty and set of a bad situation. When the Cats take over it is without Lulay and the crowd boos so on second down he returns and executes another drive that culminates in the 8th Bobcat touchdown of the day. As Lulay walks off the field after the score he waves to the fans.
The final score is 56-0.

*Gurnsey is caught leaving the stadium in drag.

* Haulk gets home to Griz town to find they have not put for sale signs on the lawn instead they came in jacked up his house and moved it to Idaho. Bobby takes a job as the special teams coach of UM- western.

* After such a defeat the griz turn down the invitation to the playoffs (I know I am dreaming), this allows the cats in and you should get used to hearing National Champs 2005, if you are a Cat fan.!!!

My prediction is 14-13 Griz.

El Gato your prediction is excellent reading. I loved your part about Saenz getting confused & rushing out to block another field goal =D^

You are saying Remax is high?? You think Groves is going to get 120 on the ground against the Griz run D? Hm.....

Anyway, it will be interesting to see who is right :) I personally think the Griz will win this game somewhere around 27 - 20. Lex will rush for over 100 yards, and probably close to 150, if not more. Groves will not have 120 yards rushing against the Griz.... I imagine Lulu will pass for around 300 yards against the Griz, but I would not be surprised to see a couple picks in there too. The Griz pass defense does give up big plays..I wont deny that, however they make big plays too, whether it be annihilating a receiver, or picking a pass off.

If the Griz get good pressure on Lulu, we could see a repeat of what happened to the cats vs Cal Poly...who I might add..the Griz beat :)

One bad thing about the game being played in Bozoland, and not at a neutral site.... There wont be those always entertaining cat posts during the middle of the game like 'OMFG WE SUCK', or "GREAT, ANOTHER FUMBLE" or my favorite "Fourth down, time to punt...no wait...we'll just throw it into the ground 5 yards in front of the receiver". You guys are really entertaining in your gameday threads :P I guess there will be still some out of state cat fans posting during the game....so I'll have to catch up on those posts at half time :)

All kidding aside...good luck on Saturday, and hopefully it'll be a fun game to watch :) Go Griz!

Ummm, as a Griz I'll have to say this: Lex isn't getting 235 on the ground. I'll be happy with 150 which I think is more realistic. Two 200+ games in a couple of weeks. Tough to do.

And as anemic as your passing game is, if Lex gets 150, it won't be good enough.

If the Cats win or push on the PSOT and Lex gets 150, the Cats will win.

Hmm...could be wrong but I recall you picking ISU, PSU and Cal Poly to beat the Griz.
I stated early in October that they MIGHT lose to PSU, but that I was leaning toward the Griz in that one.

Then, in the week before the PSU game, I predicted the Griz would beat them...
Here is one of your previous post el:

"They go to ISU next week (which I WILL predict a Griz loss), then they have 3 very difficult games, although fortunately for them, they're all at home, which I feel will give them a chance to win one. First they get Cal Poly, who I'd pick as at least a 7 point favorite if they played now, then they get Eastern, who I'd say would be a 10 point favorite over them today (yesterday, Pizzaro beat his previous best passing day BY 130 YARDS as Weber racked up almost 500 total vs "the Big Sky's best D"), and then PSU comes to town on the 29th, and at this point, I'd give the Griz the nod in that one by a couple points."

Sounds to me like you are stating we lose 3 of 4. Am I missing something here?

yeah, you are missing something and I think it's about 50 IQ points. I DID predict they'd go 1-3 in those games; I got 2 right & 2 wrong, meaning I went 2-2 in those four games, RIGHT? Is it the math you're struggling with, jersey? The logic? Wait, you're from dUMb, so that means you can't grasp either one...

Or have you forgotten that Eastern DID beat you?

To recap, so hopefully you don't have to think about it ALL day, jersey, I stated that you'd lose to ISU, EWU, CP, and beat PSU. 2 of those predictions were correct, 2 were wrong. Overall, I correctly picked 8 of the 10 Griz games this season.

Gosh, I really hope you get this. I didn't realize it was that confusing; it's amazing that you still didn't get it after going to all the trouble to dig up the post and everything. That dUMb education is really paying off now, isn't it?

(mods, may want to move this to the smack board now)

Remax- Groves getting 120 is far more likely than Lex getting 235. Lexington is going to be spied, Groves NOT. Travis will be spied and the ground game will be used this weekend against your LB's dropping back too deep into pass coverage zone defense.

Griz *ick

He predicted you to get 1 one win and you actually one 3 wins. If you have 3 apples and I eat 1 of them how many do you have left?? 2 which I believe is what el gato has been saying.

This new math (base 10) can be tricky so we understand your confusion.
