MSU Basketball vs. St. Martin's Postgame

Post by bozbobcat » Sun Nov 13, 2005 5:38 pm

The Cats seemed to sleepwalk through the first ten minutes, but woke up and looked pretty sharp, resulting in a 94-67. The defense was very agressive and there were lots of steals. I haven't seen that many dunks in a long time. The team seemed to show a good degree of improvement from game 1. All players got good minutes and made good shots. It didn't seem like there were any stupid fouls. Good game overall, "B+" grade. That gives them room for improvement.

GO CATS!

Is Miller going to get his starting PG spot back? Why is holmes starting? I saw a few outstanding plays by Miller during one stretch.

The first two were good tuneups for the upcoming road trip.......saw some good things.......looks like the starters are set except point guard. I would imagine Miller will be there soon. Durr off the bench for Dissly; Morris and Pratt at 4,5; Holmes, Durham at the guards.

Should be a good year.

I havn't had the luxury of watching a game yet, but I have heard that we are very fast up and down the court. TRUE?

We were very fast running up and down the court. Sometimes it seemed like we were going too fast and losing the ball a little bit. This team has good speed.

I saw him this spring in Petsmart with one or two of his kids looking at fishtank stuff. Gotta love a family man.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
