NDSU fumbled the opening kickoff and had 2 other turnovers. They played horrible and still beat a very solid UNI team.

I thought they could beat themselves......but maybe it just doesnt matter..............................they really are that good.

The fact that NDSU can overcome that many miscues speaks volumes about how good they are.

Agreed

They were down 23-10 and I never got the feeling they wouldnt win.

NDSU is great, but not among the greatest college teams due to games like this.

Nebraska 1995 (Bohl was on that staff) is an example of one of the greatest. Closest game was a 14 point win, but that game wasn't that close. Beat No. 10 Kansas by 38, No. 8 Kansas St by 24, No. 7 Colorado by 23 and No. 2 Florida by 38. 1996 Marshall, 1971 Nebraska, 2001 Miami are some others.

Last years and this years NDSU teams would beat 1996 Marshall 7 out of 10 times.

The reason their games are close is because they dont need them to be blowouts. They could put up more points but they run the ball bleed the clock and crush you in the 4th qtr.

Sorry but you are crazy if you dont think last years NDSU team is either the #1 FCS team of all time or at the very least 1B.

The 2012 NDSU team that went 14-1, yet had 6 of their wins by 7 points or less?

'96 Marshall would toy with them, as would '95 Montana.

This is the best NDSU team ever. (2007 team still has 3 players in NFL though. Mays Dahl Humber

Can you frame that up with stats? Most of us look at your escape at home last week to UNI thinking the Bison are beatable this year....

Lay down the evidence, seriously.
