As an official who does some 6-man football... that had to be a long, long game... 3-4 hours I would imagine. One of the best games we did was 74-71 Custer over Belfry for the league title. It can be a wild game... but man oh man is there some hitting... the majority is open field tackling and it brings on some hard hits.

In a way, 6 man football is like basketball on grass. It's a fast paced, high scoring game. But 110-69 would even be an impressive score for a high school basketball game, let alone football. Wow.
GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan!

My name is Steve, if you'd like to know.

If anyone gets the chance you should go see a 6-man game sometime. It is wild. No 10 yards for a 1st down... it's 15 yards for a 1st down. QB cannot run the ball past the line of scrimmage until first getting a direct handoff or pass for the person receiving the snap... so most often the running back receives the snap and pitches or hands off to the QB who then can pass or run. Running the XP is worth 1 point... kicking the XP is 2 pts... kicking a FG is 4 pts. Sure gives the very small school opportunities for the kids to play the game. Great addition to football in Montana.

The cool thing about 6-man football is that everyone is eligible for the ball. The only stipulation is that there are no hand offs, every running play starts with a pitch or toss.
