License Plates

Post by WeedKillinCat » Wed Jul 27, 2011 9:50 am

Does anyone have an idea on how the MSU license plates are doing as far as volume goes? I am seeing a lot more of the Bobcat country plates a lot more than I ever have.

Weedkillin, I am not sure of the numbers sold but the impression I get in Billings is that Cat plates are out selling the other guys. When I am stopped at a light I pay attention to the plates. And, often times there are 2 or 3 Cat plates to 1 um plate.

I just got a new pick-up and when I went to buy plates today, they were out of Bobcat Club plates. I've never had that happen before. I was told it could be 3 weeks before I get my plates! =D^

Some people are a lot like slinkies....... Not really good for much, but it puts a smile on your face to watch them fall down a set of stairs.

Same thing happened to me last summer for the Bobcat Club plate. I had to wait about 2 or 3 weeks to get a set. The lady told me they can't keep them in stock in Bozeman, they go so fast.

Yes

Had the same experience I had to get the new MSU plates because they were sold out of the old ones that say Cats on them. Kinda of sucks becaue those plates look the best in my opinion, but it's pretty cool interest towards the Cats is starting to spark up around here in Billings.

I bought a new pick-up in April and put the Go Cats logo'd one it. I thought that design was dropped and was surprised and happy they were available. My old jeep has the Go Cats plate and I put the Bobcat Club ones on my daughters Jetta. We are a three MSU plate family.

Why would Jeff Foxworthy hand him a sign?

It's Bill Engvall that does the "Here's your sign" thing. You fail at failing. #-o

I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.

I also believed that the "Go Cats" plate was no longer available. I bought a new car last year, and didn't even ask about them, because I had assumed they were discontinued. I also like them the best of any of the three variations of MSU plates. Maybe I will ask for them when I register my car next year.

I picked up new plates this morning. There are three varieties to choose from for MSU: The M logo, The "Go Cats" logo and the Bobcat Club plates.

Oh and I also feel violated after writing the check for said plates...yikes.

Yeah, in almost 6 years... Your point is? I'm a fanatic, can't get enough Bobcat info. Which begs the question; WTF are you doing here, other than to be an @$$? I sure as hell wouldn't waste my time (and lose IQ points) frequenting that circle-jerk known as eGriz.

I'd be curious to know who you are on eFizz, as i'm sure your post count is just as high there as mine is here.

BTW, I love my life. Got an excellent engineering education at MSU, great job in MT, awesome family, and good woman's lovin'. Loser? Try again, fool.

Ugh! Shot through the heart. Oh, thats right, I don't have one. What I do have is a dry, sarcastic sense of humor!
All this over a one liner about license plates, followed by a personal attack. IFy'all had a sense of humor, you'd have appreciated Highline humor. Its easy to get sucked down into the morass on these sites, personal attack followed by personal attack. It happened to me, sorry to say. I will not respond to that pre-pubescent sh*t, from this point onward. There is nothing to gain. Poking fun at something, pointing out inconsistencies and gaffes, that won't change(thank you for pointing out my Foxworthy gaffe). Yes, I will go away, forever, when one of the following occurs:
1) scat posters (not to be confused with Bobcat fans) leave the eGriz site to the Griz fans...
or
2) I hit the Lotto jackpot...
or
3) Hell freezes over...
or
4) I just get tired of jerking the chains of the scat.

#1, #2, and #3 are about as likely as the Cats making the playoffs again. :D Remember: Humor!
That leaves #4 as the most likely scenario. Shouldn't take long. Never let a good line go to waste. Until next time..............

I think it's amazing that even with the explosion of license plate options in Montana, the ratio of MSU plates has skyrocketed since 2000. It's fun to see! My car has the classic "Go 'Cats" on it. When I attended grad school in Kentucky (the Wildcats) everyone wanted to know how I got a 'Cats license plate from a different state. I had to explain that this was a different team...
