Hey guys, just got back from the SJSU/EWU and got to catch only the final for our game (no scores announced at SJSU at all) just now, so I missed the whole thread today.
Was bb polluting the gameday thread all day today? If so, that could well be his death knell. We've told him to keep the smack on the smack board enough times.
If you guys can give me a quick rundown on what kind of stuff he was doing (as the thread is way too long to review), the moderators can huddle and decide what to do.
Thanks!

In the "heat of battle", his crap was totally uncalled for and quite frankly, there's NO redeeming reason to keep this piece of trash around any longer. Let him go spew his worthless crap over on egriz.
NOTE: He tried to throw in a compliment at the end simply because he fears he's really going to get banned.
I realize that I'm a leader when it comes to trash-talking with the Griz but I do try to mix it up with some honest analysis and some humor. dumbac offers nothing but childish attempts at smack; IMO, his garbage has never been remotely amusing but now it's just gotten tired.
Time to rid ourselves once and for all of it.
This isn't an "open" forum; you guys own/run it, you can refuse service to anyone & I don't think it will hurt the board one bit.
Hard to argue with 26 - 6.

I realize that not all Griz posters are model citizens, but it is somewhat ironic that you threw this gem of a quote quote into the same thread in which you used the words "disgusting" and "shallow" to describe our posts.couloir41 wrote:let me rephrase...you can't spell cum without UM...

GL does have a point. If we are going to complain about crudeness on the other board, the best way to point that out isn't necessarily to try to match it on ours.
I tried to read the thread in question over there, and I honestly couldn't even figure out what they were talking about. It may have been crude, but I didn't have the time or patience to decipher it. So let's not worry about what's on their board, and just stick to striving to take the high road over here. People looking foolish by posting crude comments is self-evident -- they only hurt themselves when they do so. It's no skin off of our arses.

bac...point taken
i don't post on their board...i read it...then i read their posts on our board and make comments i think are appropriate in a fashion that doesn't leave anyone guessing about what i'm referring to...
i can't recall if you've ever used the "high road" comment on other posts but you certainly could have...and hopefully you will in the future...

I had to vote NO. bearBAC can be a pain but his comments are part of having a forum. The only way I can see that you should boot someone off is if that person is verbally abusive (directed at a poster) or if they threaten a poster. I may be wrong but I don't think bearBAC has done either. I just try to not take any of it personally.

Must admit I don't bother reading his drivel. His garbage isn't nearly as useless as some one can read on other message boards. I usually scroll through several acknowledged Fizz fans who frequent this site, unless it's in the Bobcat Athletics thread and they lamely attempt to justify their "huge" program while at the same time minimizing ours

No offense, but it actually didn't get your point across to me; I just took it as an obnoxious quote. If the irony was intentional or was supposed to have some deeper meaning, then I must've missed it.couloir41 wrote:back to my point...the "gem" got my point across to you but i doubt it registered with more "classy" of the griz posters...
In any event, hopefully we're all pretty much on the same page in terms of realizing that, while most of us on both sides of the rivalry are civil, there will always be those who are not, and ignoring them is probably more productive than just butting heads with them.
