Any messages/comments for Mick D?

Post by El_Gato » Mon Aug 01, 2005 6:58 pm

Mick Durham is going to be golfing on my team this Thursday at the Flathead Lake Bobcat Booster tournament in Ronan.

Any comments/questions/messages you'd like me to pass along?

Honestly, it would be great if you could get Mick's impression of this website and also see if he would ever be interested in contributing a letter or message to all the users of this site. This is a very selfish request as a way to promote this site, but would be cool to find out his opinion.

As far as basketball goes, I would like to see if Mick or one of his assistants is going to start hyping up the program and bringing in fans like Kramer. Being a coach at this level is a part time marketing job and no matter how good or bad the team is the coach has a big effect on the crowd #s.

Ask Mick who he thought was the best Bobcat(s) of all time. Who was the best he ever played with?

Ask Mick if he is going to win a road game this year, or one that counts in February.

Ask him about scheduling and if it is his/our choice to not play a better OOC schedule or not. I think most people would rather play a lot tougher OOC schedule than we have on the plate this season and I am curious if that is our decision, other schools don't want to play us, or if it is made for financial reasons.

I agree with RTB as far as being more agressive in marketing our BB program. What are Micks plans for marketing the Bobcats... ditto Kramer and others.

Ask about the biggest mistake in his career. Why the HELL didn't he get Jack McGillis?

I guess if I could ask Durham a question or two They would all be related player for the up coming year.

First, which incoming freshman might be more ready to compete at the D-1 level next year.

The second one would be which of the existing players is having the best off season and will surpise folks next year.

The third question would be who would win a 1/2 court shooting contest Mick or Casey?

The Fourth would be who made the bigger mistake. The Cats and Griz for NOT signing McGillis or Oregon State FOR signing McGillis
