Mine's an office Christmas Party, after I watch our Freshmen B-Ball team kick Malta's A$$. I'll be celebrating on a number of fronts, not the least of which is a UMASS win over those cocky suns-a-guns from App State.
Go Minutemen!!
Are your freshman boys playing the M-ettes? Step it up a little would ya. MHS Class of 81
You think I'd be hootin if we played the M-ettes? Those gals would probably beat your varsity boys, let alone my little 15 year-olds!!
And as far as football is concerned, Congrats on the State title, and likely another one next year. But how bout these numbers for ya:
48-0
45-20
Freshman Football against the Mustangs.

Malta will destroy you! MHS class of '94.
We'll be 3-0 tonight in Glasgow, probably 0-3 in Malta on the girls side.

While we're off topic, that halfback Malta has is one of the best I've seen in high school ball in a long time

I remember when the first spring scrimmage a few years ago in Great Falls and our kids were doing the football camp. Kramer was watching how the kids interacted between the different stations. My wife (a Griz) and I talked to Kramer and he noticed that our daughter was helping her younger brother by holding his hands to the different stations. After the mini camp, he had her stand up in front of the mostly male campers and told all the kids how impressed he was by her leadership skills by helping her younger brother.....
At the Billings spring scrimmage, Kramer noticed my oldest son playing near the end zone at Daylis. He had him come over, gave him the plays and he ran them to the huddle...that was pretty exciting for him to be in the huddle with Lulay et all.....
Glad Kramer is staying. It's things like this that young kids remember and hope they go to MSU...

Should I toast in Bobcat Athletics style: take some meth and cocain, then beat my girlfriend while breaking as many bones as possible, then buy more drugs from the coaches, sell them to kids for a profit, kill someone, then look for a 14 year old to rape.
Does that about sum it up? No wonder Idaho refused to hire him.
Sorry about my negativity, but I'm sick of the athletes here disgracing this fine educational institute that so many of us are working so hard to create! If we don't make meaningful changes, it is time to cut the whole athletic department.

And then you'll have to go get a real job somewhere because you are after all working in an institution that simply produces certificates, licenses or trades. But you can call yourself doctor and beat your chest if you want or admit you're from the dark pink side with your arrogant, condescending tone. What's the matter, didn't make your dorm's intramural team?

Hey you Bobcat wannabe. You HAVE TO be a griz. That is the only institution I know that was actually voting on getting rid of athletics. You from the 70's buddy? I bet you were one of the students. Go back to friz-land. As difficult as our "house" is right now, we will always support the Bobcats and the athletes. You aren't man (or woman) enough to do that.

Maybe you should use the brain that God gave you and think before you write such stupid words for everyboby else to read. I happen to know ALOT of bobcat athletes, and none of them do "meth or cocaine" or as a football player's girlfriend I certainly do not get beat.
Yeah, it's unfortunate that there were a few bad out of the many good athletes had to srew up, but no one with any sense wouldn't judge the athletic group as being messed up students on drugs.
I love the Bobcats!!!
but I really love only one....
GO CATS!!!

Well MSU prof....that is if you're not just another garden variety griz....are you telling us that you've never had students in your classes that have used or distributed mj or cocaine? Or, like many of those of your ilk on campus, you are just here to bring in pork, pad your wallet , and in general say to hell with students and teaching? And besides, it does offer you an ivory tower.....a pretty safe haven to pontificate and pass judgement on others. If coach K's staying is a problem for you, you should pack up your sorry ass and get out of Bozeman. I'm sure you would have reason to be just as disappointed and judgmental anywhere else. Perhaps you could relocate to dUMb and in your spare time ensure that Lex Hilliard is no laonger smacking around his significant other.
Excuse my ranting, but you really provide me an opeing to show my disdain for some of the crappola that MSU's administration brings to MSU supposedly to teach our children. And for any like minded individuals actually on the public dole at MSU, this is also directed at you.

Ladies and gentleman I do not believe this person to be a Griz fan; they have proven to have more class then this over the last month. Indeed this is an individual who abhors athletics.
You want to have a discussion about cutting the whole department? How about the professors on campus who aren't there to teach but do so begrudgingly because it affords them their ability to collect precious research dollars and hide in their labs. You don't by chance conduct the brain research on crickets on campus do you?
The superioristic tone you have taken is laden with bias and predjudice. For every one athlete who has ever created negative exposure for the university there are 500 who have done positive things for the school as well as the community. I don't seem to recall seeing any news reports about MSU faculty out donating their time with children in need, collecting toys for tots, etc. Yet, I just read about the whining group complaining their professor salaries don't allow them to live here....BOLOGNA!!!!!
I welcome your response and look forward to a VERY lively discussion as to the merits of various departments within the university.

for certain, the issues itemized on this post present disappointment for both MSU alumni and faculty (to which i am both). i know that we all will expect and demand higher standards after these events. changes will happen since the focus from the top at MSU is academics - make no bones about that.
it is also very unfortunate that an alleged educator would make a such a negative generalization about student atheletes - both past and present. this is either a knee-jerk reaction or the post of a narrow minded individual who i pray is not educating our youth.
Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
