I know this situation is giving MSU a black eye, but how about we follow some american guidelines here. Don't you think Andre deserves to remain innocent until proven guilty?
I know Andre roomed with Lebrum last year(during the time of the murder), so how would your views of Andre change if he made one poor decision of delivering a package for Lebrum to the buyer(informant in this case), collected the money for Lebrum and brought the money back to him? Instead of being a dealer. And because his one poor decision was at the wrong time, he was caught on tape.

I'd feel he was just as dumb as we're all suspected he was before you posted thisold wise one wrote:I know this situation is giving MSU a black eye, but how about we follow some american guidelines here. Don't you think Andre deserves to remain innocent until proven guilty?

if you're keeping score, France gave us Burgundy wine, cigarettes, berets, B.O., brie and the Napoleon complex-Bill Simmons

This isn't getting caught with a joint. He allegedly SOLD COCAINE! WTF? Isn't this the same kid that had some anxiety\pressure issues a couple years ago and pulled himself out of a couple games? Well geez Andre - try snorting and dealing cocaine... that should help your anxiety issues. And wasn't Andre the one that got burned deep for a TD against the Griz this year? Thanks again! Maybe if you would have spent more time working on your game and watching film... rather than snorting and dealing coke... you might not have gotten burned so bad on that play. That was their only TD that day. How can these players be so talented, yet so damn stupid? I sincerely hope he learns a life lesson here Andre and makes a decision to live his life in a positive way... not like a thug that he appears to be now.

I don't think asking MSU athletes not to deal cocaine is asking a whole lot couloir41. It's not like he got a DUI, got into a bar brawl, pulled a fire alarm, etc. Dealing enough coke to catch the attention of a drug task force takes a lot of cunning forethought. It casts the entire program, fair or not, in a bad light.couloir41 wrote:the more i read this board on this topic the more i think it ought to be named

I certainly screwed up when I was younger and made lot of retarded decisions. But this is different.

I don't agree. Three posts at BN is not enough to voice the displeasure that Cat fans feel toward this type of activity. The more Cat fans (I count myself a member of that group) yell about it the more unlikely it is to happen again.couloir41 wrote:it's just so easy to stand back and blast away...reload and do it again...isn't it...???
three posts could have said everything relevant to this topic...but we just like the juice of feelin' better than somebody...
maybe now you get the point...fixed...
The athletes are here and are given scholarships to serve our desire for entertainment and put a good public face on the university.....as the far majority do. When they fail to do either it's time to complain.....a lot.

well i hate to tell you this but pissing and moaning never accomplished jack...particularly on a board...
if you are serious about complaining and making your opinions count...write a letter to the board of regents...the president of the university and the ad with constructive ideas to solve the problem...
otherwise those posting just look like sheep...posting the same pointless blather...sanctimonious emoticon here....

I'm not sure what your motives are here, only that you don't like Fuller's name being drug through the mud. Well Fuller did enough dragging himself, he got himself arrested on criminal drug-dealing charges. I'm sorry but I don't have any pity towards someone who deals drugs, not to mention a full-ride scholarship athlete.couloir41 wrote:well i hate to tell you this but pissing and moaning never accomplished jack...particularly on a board...

Are you implying that because a majority of us are upset that a young man representing Montana State University, who has his college paid for, sullied the reputation of our university, are sheep? Well I guess all you'll get from me is "baaaa..."

how many times can the same thing be said about the same incident by so many different posters...it's like there is a backslapper's convention...
let's try the suggestion again (seriously)...instead of wasting so much time on this board...why don't you write to the regents...try doing something constructive...if it's not writing to someone who can actually do something to help solve the basic issues...short of that go empty the garbage and organize the garage...
i'm sorry i suppose that's asking a lot...
incidentally...i could care less who made the mistake...it's this tendency for posters to pile on and criticize and then posture like...hey i've made a mistake in the past but i learned from the one i made...

Sometimes venting on a board is the only way to let your frustrations out. These guys are paid to perform, with our money. Why did they feel the need to make more money selling crap. Really makes me rethink the whole student athlete, coach cocaine incident. Maybe this is all related and has been for years. Who is at the top? Maybe he should go to Idaho. I have never felt this way before, but someone doesn't care enough about what is going on and has been going on for a long time. Time to clean house.

On a somewhat related note, we lose a very experience CB next year because of his stupid descision (pending, of course), who also happens to be one of the surest tackling CB's I have ever seen. Who replaces him - Beach?
WHY DID YOU (allegedly) DO THIS, ANDRE?

Remember this is the Missouri River Task Force, so who knows? I mean, really, speaking of a waste of money.
Also keep in mind that Miller and Lebrum are face some hellacious charges. Don't think for a second that they won't rat out their own parents to make their next 70 years a little less painful.
Is Fuller in on some sort of drug deal? Probably. But do we know this for sure? Hell no.
