Week 10 Sagarin Projections

Post by ZifCat52 » Thu Nov 02, 2006 6:52 pm

For the second week in a row, last week the Sagarin projections were correct on all games bringing the Year-to-Date % correct to 74%. This week's projected winners are:

Montana over Cal Poly in Missoula
Weber State over Eastern Washington in Ogden
Sacramento State over Idaho State in Pocatello
Portland State over NAU in Flagstaff
Montana State over Northern Colorado in Bozeman

This week's projection for the final conference standings is:

Montana: 10-1 Overall, 8-0 Conference
Montana State: 7-4 Overall, 6-2 Conference
Portland State: 7-4 Overall, 6-2 Conference
Northern Arizona: 6-5 Overall, 5-3 Conference
Sacramento State: 4-7 Overall, 4-4 Conference
Eastern Washington: 3-8 Overall, 3-8 Conference
Idaho State: 3-8 Overall, 2-6 Conference
Weber State: 3-8 Overall, 2-6 Conference
Northern Colorado: 1-10 Overall, 0-8 Conference

This weeks games are all the kind that could go against these projections, most are very close on the score differential and the Cats and Griz games are the kind that can cause our fans hertattacks, etc. As everyone here has mentioned the Northern Colorado game is hugely important for the Cats, I hope the combination of HelenaCat's Voodoo magic can keep the stars and planets aligned to keep the Sagarin and Daugherty jinxs at bay again.

I cannot believe ISU isn't a better team, not in regards to the sargin playout, but I had to say it somewhere.

Sagarin is correct on the 2 'Cat games, but wrong on the other 3.
