It would be awesome to have a building like Gonzaga, but that is kind of like wanting to drink fine wine on a Hamms beer budget.

Nothing in the Chronicle today, at least that I saw.

I agree, for those that have been hyping this and seem to know something the rest don't, who/what/when/where/how is this theoretical big news going to be released?

Nothing in today's Chronicle and I don't know that there is specifically something coming today. I believe the booster meeting is today and they are hoping to be able to take the capital campaign public after today's meeting. Again, I have no proof of this....it is just how I understood the information.

I am definitely looking forward to hearing a concrete plan about what they want to build and when they want to build it. I assume I'm not the only one who will be willing to donate a little more $$$ if they say we want to build X, Y, and Z by these dates as opposed to being asked to donate to a vague "facilities improvement" fund with no specifics or timelines.

True enough. Dollars flow to vision that has tangibles attached to it. When, how, what and where are vital for the general public to say "yes" with a free flow of $$$$.

I don't think they should say a thing UNTIL they have the concrete laid out and nailed down, and visuals and timelines to present.IMO

I agree with that a little, I just think it would be nice to know what this is all about....at least a small portion at least.

I tend to agree ... we need a few more leaks with interesting news on upcoming projects. Just to give us a taste.

Patience young grasshopper. Actually, I haven't heard from Walkon yet but I know they had a big dinner function tonight. I'm sure hoping to hear some sort of announcement tomorrow at the game.

This does seem like Christmas Eve and we are all waiting to see if we were good little boys and girls. I sure hope we were good. I want the news as bad as anyone but I'd like it to be concrete. They need to give the public something because this thing has taken off like wildfire. I didn't mean to offend anyone about Brick Breeden. I would like to see it renovated for basketball only and eliminate wasted space while improving seating. I am more concerned about the Football stadium though because I feel it needs improvement first and foremost. Our Basketball team doesn't have the same recruiting disadvantage to the Griz like the football team does. I will stay on this thing until someone breaks some news on this thing.
See you all at the game tomorrow. Go Bobcats!!!
