Highest paid employee: Clay Christian
Position: Commissioner of Higher Education
Salary: $351,000
Clay Christian is not a football coach, but as the Commissioner of Higher Education, he is still employed by the university system. According to the Office of the Commissioner, Clay Churistian and his staff are responsible for providing information and services to the Board of Regents as well as legislative and executive branches of the state government.
The copyright on the picture shows University of Montana....it is clearly the Champ statue outside Montana Hall in Bozeman

Cool, but at least it isnt a football coach..................oh and hes not worth half of that for what he does.

Does seem a bit on the high side for MT gov. Job.
Sure it a result of a salary survey that indicates that's what the state needs to pay to hire someone capable to do the work.
Do you buy that.

Funny considering he's a UM grad.
