Rob O'neill, one of the most highly decorated veterans and former member of SEAL team 6 is quite possibly the man who shot bin Laden in the head. O,neill is a native of and currently lives in Butte.

If you get some spare time, read, "Rogue Warrior" by Richard Marcinko. He was a commander for Seal Team 6 during the Persian Gulf conflict and I believe the first Iraq war as well. Excellent writer and storyteller, and he gives some great recounts on some of the missions those guys would do.
