Calling Montana entrepreneurs!

The Montana Ambassadors are putting on an event in San Francisco on October 28th, which will feature Governor Bullock. As part of that event, there will be a "Shark Tank" format series of presentations being made by start-up phase Montana companies to California-based VC and business development-oriented folks, along with the rest of the attendees. The goal of this is two-fold. First, it could well result in funding for that company. Second, it will demonstrate the bright minds that are present in Montana and are creating new jobs and businesses within the state (providing yet another reason for tech industry folks to invest in Montana).

So if anyone knows of any start-ups that might be interested in participating that haven't been contacted through other channels, please have them shoot me an email at bradbergum@yahoo.com.

In addition, if you know of any Montana expats now living in CA who are now in the investment community or who are execs for a CA business, I'd really appreciate it if you could send me their contact info as well.

This says that the deadline has already passed, but I think that's a typo. If you know of a startup that's interested, I'm pretty sure there's still time to get into the event. Just contact me or the contact info noted in the pdf.
