My wife DVR'd this for me from Sundance, and we watched it last night. It's a really interesting documentary about the McKerrow family from Helena. All of the people featured graduated from Helena High in approximately 1988-1990.

I imagine many posters may know some of the characters personally, which makes it all the more interesting. I noticed several familiar Helena last names in the "thanks" section of the credits.

Marc and Paul (now Kim) were class of 85.

Kim appeared on Oprah a couple years ago and talked about the film as well as the whole transition. It was interesting, to say the least.

I haven't seen the film.

Thanks for that correction on the graduation year ... I thought I saw a "2008" graphic on a scene where she goes to her 20 year reunion, so I guessed about the graduation years for all three based on that.

I love good documentaries, so I really liked the film. It definitely takes the viewer into a lot of really uncomfortable places ... her transgender transformation being (surprisingly) the least uncomfortable part of it.

Being that they are all Montana people, and since I have this strange feeling of kinship with all Montanans ever since I moved away, I just hope that all of them are doing well in their lives after the movie.
