jimmy johns....

Post by ilovethecats » Thu Jun 16, 2011 12:15 pm

must be out of the loop because i didn't know we were even getting one of these in town! but let me say that i just ordered online, and they are not lying when they say "subs so fast you'll freak"! from the time i hit "submit" on my order, my sub was here in less than 10 minutes. and they're dirt cheap! strongly recommend it....

:D

I have to agree. I like the #10. One time my sandwich was ready by the time i got the slip from my debit card! Not a bad alternative to PB. My problem with PB was a service issue (super slow mo) a few months back. So I haven't gone back since. The owner said he would make it right but I never heard back from him. Subway is OK but sometimes I don't have time to wait in line watching someone picking out what they want........

What's PB moto? "Freaky slow but we're so stoned we don't care"? :D

That said I'd take a Cheese steak with mushrooms over JJ's! Maybe I should order one to be ready when we swing through in July!

I like when you walk in they all shout Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. We wnt there on Saturday and our sandwiches were waiting at the end of the counter after I had paid and got there. I love their bread. Better than anything Subway has. I had the # 9 today in honor of DM. Wow, what a sammich. Best ever.
I never realized we were getting one either until I drove by one day and saw the sign a few weeks ago. I wonder how long they will have 11 people working behind the counter though. with the price of their sandwiches, there is no way they can be paying 10 people and still making money. I bet once they get used to the crowds and the menu, they will cut back on the help.

that's what i was saying too. i'm impressed right now. but if in 6 months or so after business has picked up and they likely run with less staff....if they can still get me my sandwich in 15-20 minutes i'll be jacked. growing up in minnesota JJ's was a fam favorite so i'm pretty excited. they should do well.

Eric Fisher posted on his facebook page over the weekend that he can make your sandwich in 27 seconds.

That's nothing. When I worked at Carino's, I could make a side salad in under 5 seconds. :D

I love JJ's! Glad to hear you got on in Bozeman. I am a fan of #4 and #5, but you have to add the peppers and get the #4 with the Italian Sauce instead of may.

I've looked into franchising one in Helena. Stupid new Subway in the Great Northern Town Center stole my spot though.

Could be wrong, but I think the gf guy also has the rights to a helena franchise.

Been to the one in GF once and sandwich was fine, if small. The service there was so bad I won't go back though.

If its the same "Shoot the Moon" outfit that has Chilis and Macaroni Grill, then you can bank that they have the Helena franchise rights too.

I dunno... JJs is barely a step up from an Albertson's sub. Im surprised they don't serve their sodas out of a 2 litre.

PB and Staggering Ox (and Chalet Market in Blgs) are far superior products, in my ever-so-humble opinion.

I love the one in GF. I often have my sandwich before I even pay. #9 no mayo, bbq chips, and ice tea. I would totally disagree with you on the service...they are top notch in my book

There isnt a sandwich franchise anywhere that gets your food to you faster than JJs. Delivery or in store the service is unparalleled. Nobody anywhere has better service than that place.

A few weeks ago I was at AT&T bitching about how bad their service is (I do this every 3 days) and I made a special trip to JJs afterwards simply to tell the manager how great the service was there compared to......................lets say AT&T. HE said thanks and asked if I was going to eat there today. I said no, I came in only to compliment them. He said I could always get a sandwich for later.........................so I ordered the gargantuan he told them not to charge me for it. I said no, I will pay for it, I didnt come in to get free food. He wouldnt have it so I ended up leaving a $10 tip to the employees.

I will never eat at Subway again.

For purportedly being so smart, how were you stupid enough to end up with AT&T? You'd be better off with two tin cans and a piece of string for your communication needs.
