I was wondering if any of you could reccomend a great Architect to design a remodel of my home. I know there are quite a few MSU grads here in Missoula.

Thanks...

So the bobcats suck until you need someone to design a house for you?

After much thought, and being in the profession, send me a PM personal message, and I could give you a few recomendations. I know the guy who redesigned Larry Kysco's house in the university area a few years back!

Yes it is very good school. Example In 1989 the national average for passing the 4 day license exam was 17% MSU average 55%. This is pretty typical.

LaCote (SP?). He designs all of the high-end homes in the Gallatin valley and even does work up in the Whitefish area.

You must mean Locati. Nobody dominates residential architecture in Bozeman. Architects in Bozeman are as common as lawyers in Helena or motel clerks in West Yellowstone. Not that that's a bad thing.

It's usually better to hire somebody local. Ask mslacat; if he doesn't do residential renovations, he knows someone who does. I'm not an architect, but my father was.
