Thanks to anyone that showed up for the Frank Newman Marathon. It meant a lot to my family to have everyone there. It's a gorgeous run so if you have the time to do it next year, please don't hesitate!
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Did you get a good turnout? Did you run it?CatBlitz wrote:Thanks to anyone that showed up for the Frank Newman Marathon. It meant a lot to my family to have everyone there. It's a gorgeous run so if you have the time to do it next year, please don't hesitate!

Re: Bozeman Marathon
Yeah there was a good turnout, especially for the crappy weather. I didn't run this year because I had to work that day. All of Frank's grandkids and some significant others have been doing the marathon in a relay-style run. So we split it up ever 4 or so miles. It was fun last year to start that and I think we're trying to make it a yearly thing.ChiOCat wrote:Did you get a good turnout? Having completed 6 of the 7 marathons he's enter (stopped at mile 21 of that Chicago '07 scorcher) Chester can tell you that there is no greater feeling then getting medaled. Thats a feeling he's hoping Chi and Capital will experience

Re: Bozeman Marathon
A half medal is probably all I'll ever experience. It's enough for me! I was the girl that couldn't run three laps around the football field in high school tennis (and have since realized it was because I was trying to keep up with fast people! I'm not fast!!) Just running is enough and honestly I'd probably not have done a half if we didn't have the marathon here in Fargo.chester Spartanpot wrote:Great JobCommon Cat wrote:I lived, 3:28...![]()

BTW, I highly recommend the Fargo Marathon too! It's flat (d'uh) and the crowd is great! Check them out on FB, lots of great comments from people traveling here for it. Flat, fun, and friendly.
