Is it a Bobcat?

Post by allcat » Fri Dec 06, 2019 2:08 pm

I had a guy today tell me that the statue in the middle of campus is a Lynx. Is anybody out there a biologist or really know the difference ?

The guy is a Bobcat. He said a friend of his that is a biologist said it has the tall back legs of a lynx. I don't know that I would be able to truely tell the difference.

I looked it up, I guess I just need to look at the statue.

Believe the longer back leg is accurate also. I believe a bobcat has a longer back leg proportionally than a regular cat. So hard to tell unless your a person that has the pleasure of working with both or you see them standing side by side.
