24 hour restaurants in Great Falls
I'm helping a couple of guys plan a bike tour through Montana. They're looking for a 24 hour restaurant in Great Falls. I'm not so familiar with the food scene up there-any help would be appreciated. A Perkins type place or a truck stop would be fine.

Re: 24 hour restaurants in Great Falls
I don't think there's too many places that are open 24 hours. If they're coming in from the north or south on I-15, the most convenient would be Denny's/Flying J up on Gore Hill, on the other side of the freeway from the airport. If they're coming in from the east on Highway 87/89, there's a place called Good Time Charlie's/R & R Casino on 10th Ave. So. and 38th St. There's a Perkins downtown, but I don't believe they're open 24 hours, although I'm not sure about that. There's also a place called Tracy's downtown that always used to be open all night, but I'm not sure whether or not they're still open 24 hours. There may be some others, bu that's about the only places I can think of, off the top of my head.BelgradeBobcat wrote:I'm helping a couple of guys plan a bike tour through Montana. Many thanks. Tracy's is only open 24 hours on the weekends and Denny's is a little out of the way, but doable. I'll have them check out Charlies.

No, they've been closed for many years. I can't even think what's in their old location now, off the top of my head. Weren't they located at about 20th Street, on 10th?CelticCat wrote:Cattins was 24/7 I think, are they still open?

I want to say it's a casino, but I might be off by a block or two. I was just back in GF last weekend and am drawing a blank. I may or may not have passed out in Cattins a time or two...John K wrote:No, they've been closed for many years. I can't even think what's in their old location now, off the top of my head. I was just there this weekend for State AAU Wrestling. Each night didn't get over until 10pm or past. We found that Applebee's is open until midnight on the weekend. R&R (10th St S and 38th?? maybe) is open late (maybe 24 hours), and Denny's for 24 hours.

I was thinking it was a CVS or Walgreens now. Cattins....such delightfully horrible service. Man, I don't miss that place. Went there the last time after my all night party after graduation. Took a loooonnnggg time to get a waitress to even come over in a dead restaurant.WeedKillinCat wrote:If I remember correctly Cattins used to be Sambos...remember that one ?!!!coachouert wrote:I want to say it's a casino, but I might be off by a block or two. Love Tracy's. Many breakfasts have been had after the bars close down there. The R and R......late night service sucks.....service during the day is marginally better, but it is open 24.
