Bump when at work with zero motivation

Post by chester Spartanpot » Tue Jul 03, 2012 7:46 am

Chester is at his office right now with major thunderboomers abound and staring at a 5 day holiday weekend. Needless to say, his motivation to accomplished anything has reached level zero.

Same boat here but no thunder boomers or 5 day weekend coming--just feeling sluggish as hell today!

Hungover from boating on the Blackfoot yesterday.

as evident from Chester posting in multiple threads this morning. it is 74 and sunny and Chester is in his office instead of on his bike cranking out miles :(

Ok. I might as well bump this thread, not getting anything else done.

bump

Just finalized six months of negotiation for an executive position at another company -- excited about the future, but suddenly my attitude at my current job has become absolutely apathetic (I actually enjoy the work, but not the work culture). But thinking through the transition and waiting for the official written offer is painful.

Good news for me -- the new position should allow for the ability to work from Bozeman when I want (or anywhere in the world for that matter), so now I'm contemplating Bobcat season tickets -- if and when everything becomes official with the new job.

Zero motivation for work today, but a lot of motivation for life. Looking forward to Thursday Night Lights at Bobcat Stadium!

Good for you. Congrats!
Thursday night rodeos at the fair followed by the beer garden = zero motivation on Friday at work for me.

chester has lost all focus...
he can see the 10 day outlook on his Weather Channel App. Looking like mid-70s for next friday nights season opener vs boise state in east lansing. (EPSN 8pm est  )
nothing like being on campus on game day: the tailgating, football, midwestern fall day, and of course...

It's a beautiful 22C (74F) Friday afternoon already here. Just about to enjoy a nice glass of Aussie Shiraz on the front porch. You guys enjoy your Friday
