Grand Junction Cats?

Post by JWalk » Mon Oct 10, 2005 6:52 pm

I use to do the P-A at MSU football games until last year, until I moved to Grand Junction, CO. Any Cat fans around the Junction area?

Let me know....

Jason, welcome aboard. Doubt you remember, but I played softball with you for a season(well half a season till you hurt your shoulder or something like that) several years ago here in Bozeman. Don't know if you have been reading the board lately, but I think you are going to find many here who wish you were back at PA for the Cats. I know there are many CO Cat fans, not sure about in Grand Junction though.

Public address announcing

Post by JWalk » Mon Oct 10, 2005 7:41 pm

I just read some of the posts about the new announcer. I don't know who is doing the games this year. I miss doing the games. I did basketball from about 96-99, and did football from 2000 to the middle of last year. Why doesn't someone talk to MSU (Angela) and have them let me come back to do the Cat/Griz game. It's only an 11 hour drive for me, or a short little flight. If they got enough response, I'd love to come back and do it. Do you realize, I was doing the P-A the 2 years the Cats beat MSU-West straight?

Yes, I did bring the Fffffiiiiiirrrrrssssttttt Ddddooooowwwwnnnn call to BOBCAT STADIUM. It's often imitated, never duplicated.

Dead on with that statement. PLEASE COME BACK!! If you were here for the Griz game that would ROCK! =D^ I'm not being an ass-kisser (no, seriously), but you really were the best announcer we have had for a long time. I also enjoed how droll you were when the other team scored or made a big play. Ahh the good old days... :(

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Did you catch hell about us not gettin a pass interference call against EWU last year?

That was you was it not.

I loved it.
