Make sure your rehabbing is all done prior to tailgating season.

Still not sure if I will be well enough to make it back to the games this fall. I sure hope so, that is definitely one of my goals, but I know it is a long and slow road ahead for me. Boise to Bozeman is about a 7 hour drive, so it might be tough for me to sit for that long... we'll just have to see. I'm crossing my fingers, though!!!
7 hour drive pshaw! You just aren't trying hard enough (ergo, speeding)!

STILL makes me sad.

Wow, that does sound like quite the fall. Heal up and get better Bozone! I'm sure you know the physical therapy side very well, but don't try and rush it and come back too quickly! Get those bones healed up solid! Hope you will be able to make it to a game this year.

He's had some recent posts- just check them. I remember one recent one in which he thought the ride to Bozeman would be a push.

Thanks to everyone for the continued support/prayers! Things are going very well up to this point. I've been working my tail off, doing 4-5 hours of rehab every day. We are
way ahead of schedule at this point, my doctor and my therapist think I am already 3-4 months ahead of where they expected. I started back to work last week part-time, and I am slowly just trying to reintegrate myself back into the "working world," which has been a little tougher than I imagined. The fusion is still looking good, but it will take about 12-18 months before it is completely healed, at which time I'll have another surgery to take the rods out of my back. Right now, I'm training to compete in a triathlon before I go through that surgery, then I am planning on doing two more towards the end of next summer.
Good news on the football game front - I won't be able to make it over to Boulder for the first game, and I will miss the first home game against Chadron, but I am planning on making all the other games, including going over to Pokey for the ISU game and Missoula for the Cat-griz game. So thankfully, I won't have to sit here at my computer watching the streamed games and wishing I was there!

GO CATS GO!!!

Bozone, great to hear that things are going so well for you, no doubt the great attitude and work ethic are primarily responsible. Look forward to catching up with you at on of the games this year. Planning on going to Pokey also right now, so may see you there also.
