WBB vs Vandals

Another team stepping up their game against the lady Cats.
The Cats are shooting nearly everything too hard Including their bank shot attempts even their makes are hitting the back iron of the hoop.

It's obvious that some of the vandal players are looking a bit gassed already.

25-22 at half. Shooting 9% from behind the arc and 28% from the line.

We have 8 offensive boards and 10 steals, so there’s that.

Playing with a lot more fire than Saturday.

We got ‘em just where we want ‘em! 🤔 A hard half to watch with how cold the Cats are shooting, but as was mentioned - the Vandals are looking gassed already. That will really help MSU in the 4th Qtr with the way the defense is amped up from Saturday. The Cats made layup percentage has got to increase in the 2nd half, PLEASE!

Got one ref who is watching another game. Has blown no less than six obvious calls this game.

Idaho is a darn good team. Credit to them for playing us close. This was a good warmup for Boise.

Way to get the win. Great bounce back.

Martin wasn’t going to let them lose tonight. Great effort from her.

Any news on Marah returning to action?

Congrats ladies, way to bounce back! If Sac State beats PSU tonight (they lead by 11 in the 4th quarter) then the Bobcats will play either UNC or PSU in the quarterfinals and then Weber or ISU in the semis if they advance.

In her post game interview with Daniel, Binford said they will have Dykstra available for the Sunday game.
Today is 9 days from her injury and Sunday will be her 15th. Let's hope she's close to 100 %, still looked to be noticeably limping what little I saw her moving around.

Next question might be is Bunyan hurt. She didn't come down the floor at all once on offense and when the officials stopped play she went to the bench looking a bit dinged up.

Too bad Katie Penueta didn't play Saturday like she did tonight. Only 6 points and 2/4 on 3's.

I'm so proud of those girls. I wish I could give each of them a high five. Bounce back win on the road against a good team. I haven't watched yet, but heard Binford on the post game show say she started Issy Bunyon so she could go back to the super aggressive second lineup with Chirrick and Picton. Also sounds like KJ had a beast of a game. Outright champs! Really hope we get Marah back though.

Dang, I wanted Sac again. I think we destroy them in a rematch. Maybe a little later in the tournament?

I sure wouldn't complain if they are able to knock out NAU early on!

Yeah-that's probably not happening...but you never know. Tournament time is full of surprises.

Just finished watching the replay of this one, it sure helps when the other team isn't throwing in 3s from all over the court. Going into the weekend I was thinking MSU would go 2-1 and they did...I just thought tonight would be the loss.

Katelynn Martin is so good- such a savvy vet. She carried the third quarter which all but sealed this one. Gonna miss her next year.

Interesting to hear that. I thought Izzy did really well the last few games. Hopefully she's not hurt badly.

I was worried about this game. A dismal performance and all of a sudden we are 0 for our last 2 after winning 19 in a row and going into Boise full of doubt. This was a very solid win to send us to Boise with our groove back. I especially liked how we established a lead in the 2nd half and refused to give it up. Good work ladies.
