Ugly, ugly start so far. Starting to come alive here at the 10’ mark. Started to play better and move the ball when Chika, Sam and Jed came in (not a coincidence). Really liking what Jed has shown so far. Makes me wonder why we haven’t seen him earlier in the year 🤔

So far a contest to see who can miss the most three point shots.

We're even on rebounds but it doesn't feel like it. The Cats have given up a couple of boards right by the rim.

Glad to see more players out there.. maybe that will give Ford and others a little more fuel in the tank for end of the game scenarios.

This team can be so frustrating…

Hope they can close it out, keep the top 6 seed in play.

Glad to see this, too, but surprised. Have thought it would be good to get more players into the games for some time.

Lecholat had a great game.

Way to get back on track. Turner and Lecholat were studs, and Ford did all the little things. Nice to see a few more faces in the mix as we got some quality minutes off the bench.

And THAT is how you finish a basketball game! Tremendous effort from the guys playing the last 5 minutes. I’ve said it all year we need to see more Jed and I think he just earned a spot in the rotation! Sam continues to be one of, if not the hardest worker on the floor. I’ve said it for a month now. His defense alone is worth a starting spot over Goracke while he wanders the wilderness trying to remember what a basketball looks like.
Big minutes from ET3! He still scares me as the primary ball handler but he just showed what can can bring to the table! Let’s not forget the huge minutes from Big John either!! The stats might now show it but he but up some great minutes and played hard when it mattered.

And the fans!!! I wasn’t there but it looked like a party! This needs to be every game, no excuses now.

I could be looking at it completely wrong, but it appears on ESPN that Robert Ford is 90th in the country in rebounds per game at 8.0 and Brandon Walker is 37th in shooting percentage at 57.2%. Ford has absolutely NO business being that high and they need to get Walker the ball more. Wild game to say the least.

Got some crap on here for questioning why Logie didn't use Jed Miller during the collapse in Portland. Miller played a lot tonight and except for one bad turnover, did very well. He actually hit his two free throws which we desperately needed. He also came in to give Turner and Ford a blow. Turner was on the verge of foul trouble so Miller's minutes were key. Logie also played Olmsted and kept Nduka on the bench. Olmsted is at least tall-which helps at times. Geron didn't play at all-he had a disaster of a game in Portland against their press. Goracke is in slump like I've never seen. All he does is foul. Him guarding power forwards just wore him out. Lecholat might need to start from now on.

We did try to give it away with a turnover and missed free throws including the front end of a one and one, but Portland State wouldn't take it, missing free throws and a bunch of threes unlike the 3-point barrage they hit against us at their place.

Eddie Turner was magnificent on both ends of the floor. We needed that. Sam Lecholat was amazing on defense. His two blocked shots were why we won the game.

Crowd was awesome! What caused all the people to come out to this one? That was great-it really helped the team.

It was "Greek night" and they gave away 200 hot dogs to students.

If that's all it takes, maybe we need to start a "gofundme" for free hot dogs for students at basketball games.

Let's get Nathan's on as a game sponsor and give out free hot dogs every night!!! Or better yet, get a local Bozeman area ranch to sponsor it and give away free burgers and brats!!!

I'm on the Sam train. His emergence in the last few games has been really impressive and he has become an imposing figure in the middle. His confidence is contagious and he is a real spark for the entire team.

I'm still on the Logie train. He should be coach of the year.

17 bench points a major factor.

Olmstead, while still challenged offensively, played some really important minutes.

Anyone not watching in the brick are missing a real opportunity.

Go Cats!

A little free food always goes a long way! I wonder if making concession prices more reasonable would also be a way to maybe increase attendance at basketball games. As it is, buying tickets and food for a family gets very expensive very quickly. Maybe have a $1 hot dog night or something like that as a promotion.
