Percentages

Post by HighPlainsBobcat » Mon Feb 12, 2024 11:25 pm

It’s been 8 games since Cat-Grizz at home. Since that game the Cats are 3-4 loosing those 5 games by a combined 17pts (2.4 ppg). Of the 3 games they did win, they out rebounded Idaho St by 5, got out rebounded by SacSt by 6, and beat the Eags by 3. So, winning the rebound battle is key.

One of the glaring stats I found was that the Cats don’t share the ball well. A whopping .174 pts/assist. Though I might be weighting that one a little too much. Teams that have shown to share the ball more, score more. At least they tend to.

In those 7 games, a couple players stand out. RF3 stands out every game so we have to look elsewhere.

Sam Lecholat
25.57 mins/g
4.71 reb/g (2 OB / 2.71 DB) 14 OB / 19 DB
8.29 pts/g (.324 pts/min)
1.29 TO/g
Grizz @ home 01/20/24 …..
7 mins, 0 pts, 0 reb, 1 asst, 1 stl
On the season, Sam has a 1.30 asst/TO ratio

Brian G….
30.86 mins/g
5.43 reb/g (1.43 OB / 4 DB) 10 OB / 28 DB
11.29 pts/g (.366 pts/min)
1.57 TO/g
Grizz game @ home 01/20/24
40 mins, 13 pts, 6 reb, 3 asst, 0 stl
On the season, Brian has a .67 asst/TO ratio

One star is steadily rising and the other has leveled off.
