WBB vs UofM
This game is going to be quite a challenge. Will there be more pregame injury surprises where the Cats will have even less than 9 players available? Or will someone(s) from the decimated sophomore class be cleared to play. Sophomores with unknown injury status, Brumfield, Dykstra & Philip. Sophomores out for the season, Olson & Hein. It will be interesting to see what the infirmary at the end of the bench looks like today. The freshman are really going to need to step up today and some of them have their best games to date.

Yes, frosh need to produce today. Gonna be tough either way. I think Berry’s going to develop into a solid player. Today might be the day.arvcat2 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 7:03 amThis game is going to be quite a challenge. MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Will the Missoula fanboy reporters even mention the Bobcat injuries?arvcat2 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 7:03 amThis game is going to be quite a challenge. Good summary. It’s too bad that injuries are the story of the game, but they are. Add Lexi Deden to that sophomore group and you have a pretty good basketball team. Three starters from the five pencilled in at the beginning of the season. It’s a rough road when your injuries could probably beat the rest of your team.arvcat2 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 7:03 amThis game is going to be quite a challenge. I agree about Brooke Berry. Her inexperience is definitely showing, but she’s speedy and you don’t lead Montana AA in scoring three times without some offensive punch. She’s a good jumper and has a nose for the ball. If she can stay out of foul trouble she might have a good day — ‘Cat/gris sometimes brings out the best in Montana-born players. Madison has become an adopted Montanan, and I look for her to have a good day.
I still expect the remaining group to put up a good fight. They’ve of necessity become a better defensive team. If some shots will drop …
Go, ‘Cats. Beat the gris.

The start doesn't bode well unless the Cats pick up the defense and keep the gris off the boards.
Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

Seems like erratic foul calls or maybe Cats need to take flop lessons from gfeller.
