Oof, some big names leaving the Big Sky with Knecht, Cone, and now Bannan. Seems like these days you win the off-season by simply keeping the players you already have.

That guy is a terrific player with freakishly long arms. Kind of a Kevin McHale type. He'll make a lot of money in pro ball somehwere.

He has one of the clunkiest jump shots I've ever seen. Hell of a player though.

Re: Bannon leaving Griz
Interesting news. I'm assuming by "professionally" that means the Australian NBA league, or European pro ball? Don't get me wrong, he's a fine player and excels at the mid-major and BSC level, but I don't see anything in him that says he's NBA level. He had a decent game against the Cats the second time around, but we absolutely shut him down in game one. I mean, he only averaged 15 points this year; not that outstanding for someone who was supposed to be one of the dominant big men in the league.

Ya, I don't have any facts but I'd be willing to bet he was offered pretty good money to European League or NBA developmental league as you suggest.Camo_Cat wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2023 3:13 pmInteresting news. Bannon is from Australia and there is a professional basketball league in Australia.
Ex-EWU stud Tyler Harvey is playing there.
