Did perdue losing break the remaining brackets?
I think there're seven left :) :)
I bet the 7 left picked the "random bracket" auto fill option on ESPN!
Probably some random chick's that picked on their favorite colors or something 😆

Ya, good for the 16 seed! Kinda frustrating though, thinking about how some of these 15 and 16 seed teams get it done and the Cats didn’t. Almost makes me wonder if we wouldn’t have performed better, and possibly won, as a 15 or 16.

Might have beaten Arizona.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

Might have beaten K State if we shoot our season average on FTs and 3s.

If we’d made all of our free throws (unlikely, but we’ve come close a few times) we would have actually been ahead toward the end of that game. As well as our top six played, I was really surprised to see the missed free throws pile up. Unfortunately we’ll probably have to be a bracket buster because we don’t get the seed we deserve. I don’t know where the ‘Cats land, but they are better than a 14. Any step up helps.

I thought teams were somewhat seeded by previous tournament results. I’m sure our Texas Tech debacle last year didn’t help this year. So, how, how does Purdue get the #1 seed in the whole tournament after losing to a #13 and a #15 in the two previous years? That doesn’t scream #1 seed at all. Oh, wait, they are in the Big 10 or the Big 20 or whatever. That conference has had a history of too many teams in, and many out in the first two rounds.

Purdue was clearly worthy of a 1 seed, they won the Big 10 by three games, then won their tournament, and were 4-0 against NCAA Tournament teams in non-conference including Marquette, Duke, and Gonzaga.

I think MSU was accurately seeded this year because they simply weren't good enough in non-conference to earn a better seed. Blew a big lead against Grand Canyon to lose the season opener, went 0-3 in their neutral site tournament in Canada, and were not competitive against an average Pac-12 team in Oregon who didn't make the tournament this year.

If we don't choke away the game against Grand Canyon, don't slip up against Idaho, and don't go 0-3 in that tournament in the beginning of the season the Cats are a 13 seed.

Congratulations on South Dakota state making it to the final four. Great for SDSU and the MVC. I am pretty sure we win in Brookings in the Fall.

Just like roobie hack's tackle jokes and the UNC clipboard incident, that SDSU/SDSU ESPN gaffe will never get worn out on BN...
