A win is a win, but it’s how you win that matters. That was ugly!

Danny just showed us why he's the coach of the year! How to beat a team who can't miss from 3 by going inside and getting to the line. Seems like the ladies could take a page from his book!

We won but we seriously lack offensive threats. Team is fools
gold.

Haslam needs to get with the program. He is completely ineffective.

Can he teach his post players how to box out? Getting out rebounded by 8 and giving up 14 offensive boards isn’t part of the equation in consistently winning these kinds of basketball games IMO

That’s a bad win against a crappy team.

MSU won some too-close home games last year as well against bottom half teams...but they still kept winning and winning until lo and behold, there they were cutting down the nets. 1-0 is 1-0 and "fools gold" wouldn't be leading the league in scoring margin during conference play.

Can someone make the case for Tyler Patterson? What does he do for us?

How quickly some people forgot where the program was just a few years back....

A hell of a lot more than what happened between 1997 and 2021.

I’m complaining because we SHOULD’ve buried this team. NAU has 6 effing wins. We got out rebounded and shot like 16% from three. Eastern at home would destroy these guys. We might make it to the title game but the big sky is down and our team is not as good as last year.

What's it going to take for this team make some threes. Geez. Sprinkle talked about it in the post game. We're getting wide, wide open looks and nobody is hitting. 3-18 or whatever it was. These are D-1 players-shots that open should be going down much more often than that. And tonight it was everyone except Gazelas a little bit-but can we trust him? I will give one thing to Patterson. He got that steal at the end and made those crucial free throws-I have to admit I expected him to miss one.

The end sequence worked out for us. Fouling them got us the ball back with plenty of time to do something. Not calling a timeout didn't let them set up a defense or sub in a big-they had a pretty small lineup at that time so Osobor had a mismatch on that game winner.

100% agree here. BigSky is down with the subpar play of UNC, Weber, Griz, even NAU to a point. I think the thing people miss is that this team hardly plays to its true potential on a nightly basis. You see glimpses of it but hardly for a full half and never for a full game. If this team actually played to its potential the margin of victory could be double what it is now.

McMahon’s injury certainly doesn’t help the cause but there are some other variables in play that really hinder the on-court product and should be addressed sooner than later if the Cats are to make a tournament run and get better than a 14 or 15 seed at the NCAA tournament.

This was an ugly win. Sprinkle said in the post game that MSU did not deserve to win the game.

NAU was lights out from 3. I think we were 3-18. As a former big time long range shooter, Sprinkle was clearly upset that
his guys cannot make wide open shots.

But a one point win is as good as a 20 point win. WE all know the drill. It's a lot of fun to compete for the Big Sky title, both
regular season as well as the tournament. But we know what will happen to the winner. They will be a #16 seed and get
tromped. Regrettably we don't have a "mid level" division to compete in like we do in FCS football. It is what it is. The big
sky in the past has had some champs that COULD compete with the top tier D1 programs, but that's just not the case now.
