Substitution
Watching the mens game tonight against SDSU, my son noticed that every time a player would substitute in, they would hand something to the player that was coming out. That player would then hand it to someone behind the bench. Anyone know what it was they were passing around? Great win against SDSU.
Punters are people too!!

Re: Substitution
Typically, teams that do that will use a rolled up towel. That way, when a player goes in and hands the towel to who is coming out, there is no confusion on who is coming out of the game.GoCats18 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2019 12:00 amWatching the mens game tonight against SDSU, my son noticed that every time a player would substitute in, they would hand something to the player that was coming out. Re: Substitution
Its a discipline technique helps the incoming player get ready.
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Re: Substitution
It also makes the two acknowledge each other. This means there is a high chance they'll talk and share info such as who the outgoing player was guarding.
