WBB vs. Colorado State
Cats win big 87-69. Nice performance. The only thing I saw was a problem with defensive rebounds. CSU may have been just a little bit taller than us. Rebounding was a problem sometimes for this team last season too. But offensively-this team is really impressive. Good win!

CSU was a big team, but we seemed to have a stronger inside presence tonight. I thought that some of the kicks to the outside were great: when CSU bottled up the inside game, MSU hit the 3 ball. Katie Bussey continues to impress me with her smooth shooting ability. This was really a great team win and I'm quite excited as to how far this team will go.BelgradeBobcat wrote:Cats win big 87-69. Re: WBB vs. Colorado State
I thought we allowed CSU to get way too many offensive rebounds, but that is the only complaint I have. I'm not sure what in the world happened when we got blown out by Oregon State, because really every other game has been rather impressive overall given the competition. I sat close to the bench tonight and I see a bunch of kids with LOTS of energy and passion with very good chemistry. This team is going to be fun to watch and I'm beginning to think that if they can stay away from injuries, they are going to be a force in the Big Sky. Coach Binford has brought in some really fine young recruits, many from within Montana. This program seems to really be getting stronger each year. I would love to see the same thing happen with the men's team. Go Lady Cats!

I still think you're the team to beat this year; I don't see how PSU was picked ahead of ya.
