Game is in the 2nd half now... 'Cats have been down around 8-12 pts most of the 2nd half. Need a big run to try and win this one. About 8 minutes left... Video link below:

I know Cameron Dollar thought a lot of his SU team going into the season. Looks like he may have been right.

My increasing disillusionment with Huseball continues...

Seattle U-a team that was D-2 just a few years ago. A team that has no conference, no post season possibililites, and plays a cobbled up schedule comes in here with way better basketball players than we have. They were bigger, stronger, faster and better shooters. Why is that? Just once I'd like to see us play a D-1 team that was smaller and slower than us-but I don't think they exist.

The final score was much closer than the actual seperation between these two teams.

Seattle U is a pretty good team. They'd easily be in the upper half of the Big Sky. But this is a program that we should beable to beat in Bozeman. Yet, like most D-1 teams we see come in here-they shot like it was their home gym. 56% for them 37% for us.

Last year's team was known for blowing big leads. This year's team may not even get to enjoy a lead.

Dang this is getting old.

I watched the majority of the game. I too, thought to myself, "Man, this looks familiar." Go up 6, go on a terrible streak, give up some quick points, down 10 after the first minute of the second half. It was an all to familiar movie. I like Brad as much as anyone, but this is the last season to do something legitimate or he's got to go. Hate saying that though.... :(

I'll have my postgame blog out soon, but MSU's frontcourt did absolutely nothing on offense or defense. Seattle U should be a Big Sky member, or even West Coast Conference (with Gonzaga, Portland and the like). They are heading to the WAC in 2012.

I was at this game. After we played ASU close and then beat Utah, both on the road, I really had high hopes for this year's team with all the newcomers. However, I was very disappointed in what I saw. One game is just one game, but I agree with the other posts that SU had a far superior team to MSU. It was a blowout and if we played them ten times, I don't think we would do much better.

I've seen the women play and they are fun to watch, though the bench is small in number. We'll see.

Looks can be deceiving. Again, I thought if you go on the road and lose 78-72 to one Pac 12 team, Arizona State, then WHIP the other Pac 12 team, Utah, you' have accomplished something. But tonight, I see that Arizona State lost to some school named Fairfield. I have heard of this school, but I'm embarassed to admit I don't even know what conference, if any, they are in. Then the real shocker, Utah was WAXED by about thirty points by....no, not Duke, etc. by HARVARD!! I can remember when the Utah Utes had a basketball program. I don't know, we may get upset at our men's BB program here at MSU, but seems to me that ASU and especially Utah have some HUGE issues.

I hope they guys can show some improvement.

Those teams are bottom-of-the-barrel PAC-12 teams, and SJSU is a bottom-feeder in the WAC. MSU should sort-of maybe struggle with them, but wins shouldn't be surprising against any of those 3 at this point.
