The Bobcats whip the Pilots 66-53. http://www.portlandpilots.com/news/2011 ... 14258.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I gotta feeling about this team this season...they're gonna be good! And with the way Binford and Co. have been recruiting, the future is pretty dang bright!

Have to admit, I was somewhat surprised that Portland State was given the nod in winning the BSC. I would have thought MSU would be the highly favored this year. What with 5'9" Katie Bussey and 6'0" Rachel Semansky joined with the returning to form of sophomores 6'4" Chelsea Banis and 6'1" Ashley Albert. Then adding in 5'7" Kalli Durham and 6'1" Jackie Elliott along with 6'0" Kayla DeWit I think MSU is under-rated going into the season. If the LG defeats MSU both times I'm liking the LG's chances in getting back to the NCAA Tournament again like last year. IMHO
