MSU vs. WSU game thread
Be nice to see MSU pop Weber to start the season. MSU just needs to toughen up down the stretch, not worry about missing shots and use their defense to create some scores in those situations. Need to use their speed to negate size and poor shooting stretches.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: MSU vs. WSU game thread
Unless this team learns how to finish games, not too many victories in conference play will come our way. We seem to start strong and have great first halves, but then falter in the second half. Weber is definitely beatable right now, but MSU will have to play a complete game to get the win.

We need our seniors to step up and become leaders.

Re: MSU vs. WSU game thread
Our big problem is that we only have three seniors! Granted, they are pretty good seniors -- Howard, Rush, and Pieopli. But man, we are just so damn young and inexperienced this year. Gonna take awhile for this team to gel. Unfortunately, time is something we don't have.wbtfg wrote:We need our seniors to step up and become leaders.

The Cats are actually in the middle of the pack in the Big Sky for the number of seniors on the team. Weber, UM, Eastern Washington and Sac have fewer seniors than we do, Northern Colorado also has 3, while NAU, Idaho State and Portland have more.Old Skool Cat wrote:Our big problem is that we only have three seniors! 58-50 with 8ish minutes left. This would be a big win if that Cats can hold it together. Weber was preseason favorite to win the big sky.

65-57.... playing well sounds like... like Rush drawing the carge and getting fouled at offensive end

74-70 MSU. Webers ball 24 seconds left. Now Cats ball. Having trouble getting across half court right now
