Bobcats host Dons

A really nice Thanksgiving appetizer. Bill Russell's alma mater comes to Bozeman Wednesday night.

We beat the San Francisco Dons early last season, but later on they beat Gonzaga: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/c ... ags31.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I like getting WCC teams in the Fieldhouse. These are always good games.

SF looks like they are playing pretty good ball this year. 2-1 with wins over Seattle and Colorado already. Looks lke their main go-to guy is #32 6-7 PF Angelo Caloiaro who is avg. 17pts and 9 boards on the year. Should be a good one! Go Cats!

Erik Rush had two of the sickest dunks I've seen from a Cat in awhile! The first was a tip-dunk, where he just grabbed the board with one hand and threw it down. The 2nd was a breakaway 360 one handed slam! I hope the news guys caught those.

I'm disappointed I missed that dunk. :(
Sounds like we're playing pretty well tonight.

Cats Roll!! Howard and Rush both had over 20 pts, with a nice balance from the rest of the squad. They are off to their best start since 04 at 5-1, which is most impressive due to 7 or so new faces on this team. I am very surprised with how they are playing, they are fun to watch, especially seeing the freshman getting some solid minutes.

This team goes as Howard and Rush go...and Howard and Rush are playing very well right now. That tip dunk of Rush's was amazing. I think the 10 at 10 guy was videoing so maybe he got it on the highlights.

SF was bigger and more physical, but our quickness caused lots of problems for them. They turned it over a lot. We got out to about a 13 point lead and just held them there. They got it to 8 a couple of times, but a Rush or Howard three would quiet them right back down.

Singleton continues to impress me. A very good pickup by Huse.

Lots of road games coming now so the record will probably dip, but this team has a chance to be pretty good.

Loving the way Singleton runs the offense. Everyone seemed to be in the flow except for Anderson. He was in foul trouble early and was really limited after that. Great win by the Cats before this road tirp!

Yeah. "Anderson" and "flow" don't really go together. :lol: He did pull down a couple of key rebounds down the stretch when it looked like USF might be starting a run.

Isn't Cody Anderson hurt? Looks like he is wary a bulky brace on one of his knees? Does anybody know?
