I just don't understand the whole "players are too tired" thing. NBA players often play on consecutive nights and sometimes 3 games in 4 nights, in 3 different cities. High school players sometimes play 4 games in 3 days in tournaments. But you're telling me that playing two games in 3 nights, at home with no travel, is just too much for college players?
It’s the Physics classes. 😆

The major disadvantage is being more tired than your opponent. If you play 2 games in 3 nights with a short bench and your opponent had more rest, that's a disadvantage. The schedule is what it is, but the short bench is a self-inflicted disadvantage.

The NBA regular season does not require the same level of intensity that the college season does. Most big sky games are battles by the entire team for the majority of the game. The average NBA game requires a player to play with intensity no more than 5 minutes per game.
