Cats offered him out of high school per 247, transferring from UNR.

The University of Montana State, huh? I’ll bet Victor can now help him with that.

Looks like he played at Nevada in 21/22, then played for a very good Salt Lake CC team last season. He was their 6th leading scorer at around 10 PPG.

Found an article that stated Jalen was perhaps the best player in Colorado his senior year. We had offered him as well as a few other schools, however neither CSU or CU did. He elected to go with Nevada. One other player from Colorado did receive an in state offer. For what that is worth. Sounds like a kid we couch coaches would offer, simply because the last coach had offered him! Haha. I'm enjoying following this new round of recruiting... hopefully we get some action soon!

I have a question for mslacat or anybody else with access to inside information: Are the Cats seriously interested in Cam Kystowiak, or are they just kicking tires?

Hooray, a player! Looks like a great rebounder for his size but not a huge scorer at least at Portland. Played a lot as a Freshman then appears to have lost some playing time as a Sophomore. Originally from Seattle which makes sense given Logie's ties to the area. Welcome!

Yes he is Larry's son. Not meaning to be the spelling police but the r is missing in Krystowiak above. (Every teacher I had from 1st through high school would tell you I'm the least qualified to be a spelling policeman)
I hope the Cats are truly interested in Cam and I hope he would take a serious look at the opportunity to play for coach Logie.
Yeah Larry is a Griz hall of famer but with all his experiences with college basketball plus pro ball he has to know that the most important things are a good fit academically and good fit with the team and coaching staff. I do think he'd get all of that here. I think Larry lives in San Diego so wondering how much he may know about coach Logie and assistant Scholl.

If you're looking for someone with a little authority, I'm your man. I have as little as anyone!

Larry has another son on the Arizona roster that played at Irvine CC. I suspect the new staff knows about him.

Yvan Ouedraogo visited us yesterday. two year starter from Grand Canyon. He is a good catch for whoever lands him. Initially he was slated as a possible Montana recruit, so I'm guessing Zach Payne's influence might've helped get him to us for a visit.

The Grand Canyon kid above ____ Would never see the floor at GCU next year. Bryce Drew has hit portal hard and this young man saw the writing on the wall. Started 25 games only averaged 5.0 PPG ____ .486 FG% shooter and .000% 3PT% and 5.9 rebounds a game.... Don't waste any offer here.
