Does anyone have an update on Waka's injury and/or illness? I hope he is not out for an extended period. I am looking forward to seeing him play in conference games.

The report I saw says "Unspecified illness". Hopefully it is a short-lived virus or something not more serious.

Bump. Does anyone have information on Waka's illness/injury status? I did not see him in street clothes or otherwise at the Brick during the two home games last week.

Don't think it is my place to say, but I would be surprised if he is able to come back and play this year.

I understand the right of players to have privacy, but can anyone confirm that he is still a student at MSU and if he is still on the team? Injured players are usually on the bench in street clothes if they are still part of the team.

I hope everything works out for him.

Waka suffered a health concern on the trip when the guys played at Cal Poly. I’ll try to find out what his current status is.

He and Cavin Holden were both on the bench all game. No idea what his injury/illness might be.
