Deden, Janssen and Brumfield will miss early season games. Hein will remain with the team as manager for her senior season.

Re: Binford - This could be a special team
Great article, excited to watch them play this year! Getting Morales from the portal is huge, hopefully fewer games this year where MSU struggles to get out of the 50s and has to win with defense alone. It'll be interesting to see the preseason polls when they come out. NAU will surely be right up there as usual. EWU is the defending champs but lost a lot of talent from last year's roster. The new Griz coach is a lot better than the previous one but they haven't been able to get over the hump yet and lost a couple key players too. Idaho could be good too, some very good players there although they're on their third coach in three years.

Great article. Too bad Deden and Janssen won't be available right away but we still have great depth. Excited!

Re: Binford - This could be a special team
With effectively 6 starters returning, 3 of which made all Big Sky post season teams, this team could be very special and certainly the preseason pick to win the conference. With only four on the roster that are under 6 feet tall, this has got to be the tallest Bobcat team in their history.
My favorite quote in the article from Binford: “We’ve got to get out of her (Chirrick) way as far as really getting her to a place where she’s just playing,”
Thank you, Parker Cotton, for some off season reporting on WBB!
