Katie hardly ever even smiled last year during games.
She didn't smile too much in the Brick tonight either!
Yes, pretty sweet, huh?
If you watch the replay, when Taylor gets left alone at the top of the key just outside the 3 point line and launches a beautiful shot (right towards the end of the 3rd quarter) Katie just closes her notebook and throws it on the chair next to her; it bounced off the chair onto the floor.

I think this is the first time I recall the WBB team getting more posts than the men's team after a game.

Cats win 61-40 in another dominant defensive performance! Huge game coming up Saturday against NAU who beat the Griz in Missoula tonight. Go Cats!
I guess Coach Holsinger will need to ramp up his yell’n.

Katie gave good hugs to the players on last year’s team after the game.
I saw that. Thought it was nice. Her and coach Bin shared a very quick hand shake.

Sitting down low at the game it was obvious to me that this Bobcat team has great chemistry. THe defensive effort was off the charts. Rebounding was great. So was the Free Throw shooting. I think we were 19-22. Taylor, Marah, Madison and Natalie are really peaking at the right time. KJ had an off night but she will be fine.

Ellie is a great presence on the floor but I wish she would try to score when she gets the ball down low, like Marah and Taylor do. Malea has GOT to do more on offense. I would LOVE to see her drive it to the hole and dish it off or draw fouls. The way that Darian used to do. Natalie is starting to do that. Izzy is a capable ball player and shooter. HUGE game on Saturday. We need a big, loud crowd on hand.
Not only Ella! Time and time again Marah will get the ball in the high post or at the free throw line and WAIT
FOR THE DOUBLE TEAM! Won't any one tell her to shoot the damn thing as soon as the ball enters the paint? She's deadly from 12 feet! Not only Marah...like was said above this ream has gone "too unselfish". The only one that will shoot anytime she has a shot is Izzy!
Natalie is starting to make good decisions with the ball! I can see her maybe even being a better pure point guard than Darian. Maybe she could drive the lane more and concentrate on getting the ball to the rim, but with her size she is very intelligent on when to pass, when to shoot, when to go and when not to.

This times a thousand! Marah and Taylor need to shoot that 10 foot jumper before the defense gets to them. They both have a habit of making an easy shot a lot harder!
