I didn't listen to this game, but I would have expected a much bigger loss. They tied UCLA in the second half, which is an excellent effort. I think this should be a confidence builder. I'm not too worried about the 2-7 record to this point. They'll finally have some home games, starting Friday. I worry that MSU played only 7 players. We may need a deeper bench than that come conference season. I have to say that it's a great effort by the Cats today!

And on a side note, I'm sure UCLA fans are very mad at the state of Montana today. The UCLA men's team lost to the Grizzlies tonight. I say we make it a Montana sweep on the 21st of December.
