Bussey Freshman of the Year
Bobcat women's team earned an end of year accolade. Katie Bussey, 5'9 freshman from Alamosa, Colorado was named Outstanding Freshman. Congrats Katie. Anyone who saw her play this year knows it was well-deserved. Good luck ladies this weekend. And as your announcer, let me say thank you for all your help and it was a pleasure to PA your games.

Isn't it amazing what stability has done for this program? Coach Binford and the assistants have done an awesome job re-building the program and now girls/young women actually WANT to come play here. I think Binford and the staff deserve major kudos for all they've done and the whole team deserves many, many more in the stands next year.

I completely agree! I am guilty of not supporting near as much as shoulda/coulda... I see great things for the lady Cat's future!CelticCat wrote:Catfan6969 wrote:Isn't it amazing what stability has done for this program? Re: Bussey Freshman of the Year
With this news, and a good recruiting class, and a coaching staff, this is a team that is going to be a team at the top of the big sky for some years to come.
