Tailgate tonight before Men's B-ball game

Post by ftg3485 » Thu Jan 18, 2007 3:46 pm

Just a reminder that Blue Crew will be hosting a FREE tailgate party tonight at 5:45 in the fieldhouse. If you are a college student and love showing your bobcat spirit then please come get a free t-shirt and some free food and MAKE SOME NOISE.

There will be meatballs, nacho chees and nacho chips, 7-layer dip, cheese and crackers and cookies there along with the MSU spirit squad, Pep Band and some select MSU coaches.

It should be a blast so get all your friends and come to the fieldhouse and lets make teams hate playing in Bozeman.

Who's coming to the game tonight? Even though the Wildcats took care of business at home against the Cats ten days ago, it is the Bobcats first home game in a month. They are well coached, improving, and just about knocked off the Griz last weekend! Let's get excited about this team!

I was there and damn was that fun. Best night at the Brick in a LONG time. Front row behind the basket is like no other. I'll be there from now on.

What was tonight's attendance? I'll be driving down Saturday from the Helena area for the ISU game.

About 3700. Not what it once was-but by far the best atmosphere of the season. Having the band back makes a huge difference and the students in the endzone were great!

I think that the students behind the south basket was a good start but those guys and gals should get a little louder. I also noticed that the announcer was trying to get the crowd to yell BOBCATS after a big basket but no one caught on. I like the direction things are going; now if we can get 2,000 more people in the seats. 8) 8)

The Blue Crew made for a nice presence at the game. For years I sat in the front row right where they are and they're good seats. You see a lot of things there. The Crew made some noise and it was fun.

It's a totally different perspective of the game. You get to see the setup of the defense and the work done by the guys in the post area. I don't know if I'll go back to the sidlines!

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

MSU's site says 3,069.

The Blue Crew in the end zone was great. I hope the rest of the students catch on. Just being able to see them on the floor makes them a bigger part of the game. Now if we can just get the cheerleaders to do some chants that people can actually do. Wow--most of the time I can't even understand what the cheerleaders are saying. P.S.-Blue Crew needs to learn how to pogo jump.

You see all sorts of things from that spot. I even caught Mick Durham saying something under his breath a couple of times when I sat over there and it was funny to a younger me. It's a good perspective and as long as the cheerleaders don't stand in the way, then it's all good.
