Could we use a 6-4 athletic Jumping Jack WR next year!?

With Dissly using up his eligibility in basketball this year, he will still have one more year of eligibility for another sport, lets say football! Do you think he could contribute/ play /start next year? Assuming he would be interested?

There was an article at some point that suggested that he was considering that sort of move after bball, wasn't there? I had totally forgot about that -- he could be a huge boost at WR ... especially in the red zone.

The Chargers also tried it with Gates, and it did work out pretty well.

Tramel was not a Pac-10 football recruit out of high school, Dissly was. Trammel was also 6-7 and 230lbs. I just wonder how much football is still in Dissly? Yea maybe it won't work but, I would rather teat it than assume.

AHHHHHHHH
I'll still have nightmares about Trammel's rebound/slam in the 2002 Big Sky tourney

Don't get me wrong. I am all for it, I would love to see Dissly playing football.

If I remember right the cats were up by over twenty in that game and it came down to that dunk. What a nightmare.

It was about 20 points because a friend of mine went and got tickets for the Championship game figuring there was no way the Cats were going to lose it...what do you know? I remember that slam by Trammel.

The FB team could use someone like that, but I question why you think he would have any more of an impact on the FB field than he has had on the BB court? I think every receiver we currently have is better than Diss would ever be, because Diss would only have one spring and fall to learn the position, let alone be productive. If he wanted to walk on, he would be worth a look, but not otherwise.

I agree...I doubt his football toughness.

The Chiefs also tried it with Gonzales (can anyone say pro bowl???)
