Desin leaves Bobcat men's team
By Gazette News Services
BOZEMAN - Freshman Mark Desin has decided to leave the men's basketball program at Montana State and focus on his football career, MSU basketball coach Brad Huse said Tuesday.
"(Mark) made his decision last week," said Huse, MSU's first-year head coach. "He wants to focus on being a one-sport guy. He had done a nice job. He was coming along, but he made a decision that would be best for his future, and we want him to have the best experience possible at Montana State."
Desin, a football and basketball star at Billings Senior, played in four basketball games for MSU, averaging around five minutes per game.
Desin redshirted as a wide receiver this season for the MSU football team.
