Am I a bandwagon Cat fan?

I've seen some pretty nice cat schitt (cat schitt...hahaha) over the past few years. I found this really cool hat, blue w/ the cat logo in gold, and was thinking about throwing down $20 for it.

Would that be ok, or would I be considered bandwagon?

As long as the hat is officially licensed and MSU gets a cut from the sale-we'll take ya.

Oh man! Where were you during the streak? Probably one of the ones mocking us and laughing at the pain of a shanked kickoff, for example? Or worse yet, watching Ricky Gatewood score with enough time to let EWU go back down the field in double overtime?

You have to realize that Bozo is not Mazzola first of all in that they don't throw diplomas in vehicles with the windows rolled down--you have to earn all that and understand there's a lot of pain associated with Bobcats, hence our creative cheers that only get better as we pi$$ in our self-proclaimed blue blood "brothers" glasses to the west who serve recruits lobster, steak and serve champaine to boosters. We eat hamburgers and drink beer when we go out to eat.

That's almost as ridiculous as farmers and ranchers from eastern Montana sending their kids to Mazzola because they know they couldn't hack ag econ or an engineering field in the classroom!

Why that rotten no good son of a ..... :)

I've got kid duty on Saturday. So, it's watch the game at the house with a few others.
The Christmas stroll will be going on downtown when you come through though. With the victory, that should be a mob scene.

So if both the Cats and the Griz keep winning, will we see people buying a Griz hat and a Cat hat, cutting them in half and sewing the two together? (I could totally see the Governor doing that and pairing it with his bolo tie.)

I welcome the new Cat fans. But I think they are just one loss away from running back to the Griz. It's easier to cheer for a "winner."

Funny you would use that. My son is doing a report on him in school. And, he's a Griz fan. So, last night I was calling him a Benedict! :) :)

I like the Cats as long as they're not playing the Griz, however, buying a hat and actually wearing it??? Well, that's just grounds for a blanket party.

No kidding. If I ever put on Griz attire, I would fully expect, no, demand, that people on this board kick my ass.

I don't know what's worse JW - that you would share that your son is doing a report on Benedict Arnold or that your son is a Griz fan.

The most famous traitor (next to Brutus), and yet everyone only remembers the bad about Benedict Arnold. He and Ethan Allen (the guy the furniture company is named after) led the Green Mountain Boys to victories for the colonies before becoming a traitor.

Arnold was arguably America's greatest warrior but politics kept him from getting his due and eventually making him the ultimate turncoat
