What's the latest local forecast(probably more accurate than national ones)? If it's for snow, oddly enough this will not be FU's first playoff game in the snow. A few years ago FU played SFA in the snow in Greenville. It snowed heavily the whole game. The field was wet from rain and about gametime it changed to snow and there was 2 inches on the field when the game ended. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Doubt the weather or altitude will affect your team in the least. What's the elevation change up over Traveler's Rest into Brevard in what (?) about 50 miles.

Thats probably 2500-3000 feet I guess. Looks like at least some snow between now and Saturday. Does MSU cover the field?

With snow. We do scrape it off. Still have pictures of the team the last time we hosted playing in the snowbanks on the sidelines. Just watch out for the snowballs the kids usually throw. The field will be wet and sloppy just like a football game should be played in--I know the forecast is for the twenties but it'll probably warm up a little more than that by the second half or just enough for the top bit to thaw. It's not going to get cold enough to freeze the ground very deep. Should be a lot of fun to watch.

Looks like it's not working.

It stopped snowing around 2 this afternoon, and got sunny and windy.

Some essentials for being outdoors in MT on a winter day:

Hat, mittens, scarf or neck gator from skiing. Long underwear, fleece, and a windproof shell of some sort.

Then when it turns warm you need sunglasses. Imagine a really bight sun bouncing off every white surface. It can be blinding if you don't have eyegear. Sunscreen, and most importantly, chapstick of sorts.

Montana is known for extremes, hot/ cold, wind/quiet, sun/snow. And that can all be in 12 hours.

But it is incredibly beautiful, enjoy!

Could be heavy traffic. The timer background will turn green when your on.

Oh! And you won't find any shrubbery in Bozo!
