haha, no I just felt like throwing it out there and I couldn't access our site. Doesn't say we have an all-star team, but I'd appreciate the same coming from the Big Sky. Lets me put names with positions and see who to watch out for.

If it comes down to All League players, you'll wipe us out. You might anyway. I think if you're at full strength, it will be a long day for us. We haven't seen anything like that guy Felton and we haven't played an offense like yours in quite some time, so I don't know if we can.

We may have played Montana close, but I don't think the Griz are all that good relative to the rest of the I-AA. They have a great record 10-1, but the whole Big Sky was down. Our only loss other than to UM was to Eastern Wash. and that was a fluke. Our offense is pretty weak and we don't get much from our special teams. Our defense is good, but like I said I don't know how they'll matchup with your offense. The only thing we have going for us is homefield, but you've seem to do OK on the road. The weather might be a factor since it takes a while to acclimate to the cold just like it takes a while to do the same for the heat/humidity. I know I can't handle the humidity, so I imagine our players can't either. I imagine the same is true traveling from south to north.

I hereby dub thee "Sir Eeyore."

Last season I watched Furman play Hofstra in Greenville. It was the third game of the season and the starting two gametime temperatures for the Pride in Hempstead were in the low 70s. That day in Greenville it was 93 with heavy humidity.

During the timeouts late in the game Hofstra's team would all be on a knee with their helmets off sucking wind. Furman won in overtime running Felton something like 6 times in a row. That was really the only time I've seen weather effect the outcome of the game. And it was the only time, as a South Georgian, I sang praises for the heat.

I used to work up in Idaho during the summer. It would be 110 up there but I could run circles around people all day. That humidity just doesn't exist up there. I know how it effects the heat, I don't know how it changes the cold.

Only three more days!

I just don't think weather affects anything unless you are losing. Same with altitude. When things start to not go your way, then the built in excuses start creeping in your mind. But when you are excited and winning, the last thing you're thinking about is the cold. Maybe the fans are concerned, but not the players.

Actually they sound a lot like Portland State. They didn't run option but ran power. They had a big fullback 240+(Bobby McLintock who made first team all conference) and had a RB Muhammar Ali who played against us who was like 225. we shut them out on a day much like the one we will have...only it will be much colder.

Rubin wasn't a small man by any means either, but I think he was only like 5'11 230, but man he ran hard.

Don't get too caught up in those all conference lists. They are so varied. By the coaches vote we have seven first or second teamers. By media we have 13. ??? I watched your game against MU and I don't think there is much of a way either team scores a lot of points unless it is you. Your front seven is impressive and we will be running right at it. You, on the other hand, willbe throwing at our weakness. Short passes have always killed us.
