The Warthogs were awesome, even if the timing was a little off because they are kind of slow compared to the normal flyover. :D

Apaches would be AMAZING!

Yeah and maybe they could load up their arsenal with a few dummy rounds and fire those off...that would make the ROTC cannon look like a sparkling whiz bang firecracker from the dollar stand.

Warthogs are by far my favorite military plane.

Although, I must say those Apache's and the Chinook were cool, too.

My dream would be to see an Osprey Flyover.....

How 'bout a B2 Stealth fly-over? Wait a minute, it it's so stealth, how would we know when it's flying over?

I was in the walk way on my way to my seats and everyone stopped walking to honor the Anthem. I therefore missed the flyovers. It sounded pretty darn great though.

That is the SOUND OF FREEDOM

WOW!

Whoever that singer is needs to replace every single pop singer that does their own "rendition" of the National Anthem.

That is one of my pet peeves. Sing the song how it was written. Show some respect.

That was a pretty cool dual flyover too!

I'd like to see the jets do a double flyover- first time at the end of the Star Spangled Banner.

Second time coming from the opposite direction (to catch everyone off guard) just prior to kickoff with the theme from 'Top Gun' full blare on the speakers.

If that wouldn't get your heart pumping...................

Go Cats!!

If we don't get jets, I hope we get the chinook and 2 apaches again. Those beat the balls off of the Warthogs.

Those flyovers are cool! The Montana one was better than the one from Clemson. Clemson is about 30 miles from the FU campus by the way. Im gonna make my way out there if I have the chance to see a Warthog in flight!!

Each flyover costs about $12,000 dollars, has to be okayed by the FAA, and each school gets one (1) per season.

It was in the Tribune article about the two pilots who did the fly over for the Cat/Griz game. They have to be approved by the FAA and also signed off on in DC. MANG allows each school ONE per year, and apparently MSU usually tries to get Homecoming. I think the $12,000 cost is for planes, not for the apaches that we had against UNC, but I'm not completely sure on that cost. I will see if I can find the article to post in here.
